Frequently Asked Questions
How do I create my birth chart?
Open the app (or visit natalcode.app) and enter your birth date, time, and city. Your full natal chart is calculated instantly using Swiss Ephemeris data — no account or sign-up required.
What if I don't know my birth time?
You can check “Time unknown” during chart creation. NatalCode will generate your chart using a noon default. Sun sign, Moon sign, and most planetary placements will still be accurate, but house placements and your Rising sign require an exact birth time.
How do I delete my account and data?
Go to Settings in the app and tap Delete Account & All Data. This permanently removes your birth chart, all readings, compatibility reports, Decode answers, push notification subscriptions, and any preferences from our servers. This action cannot be undone.
What data does NatalCode store?
We store your birth date, time, city (for chart calculation), your calculated natal chart, AI-generated readings, compatibility reports, and daily content preferences. If you provided an email address, we store that too. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How do I manage or cancel my Pro subscription?
On iOS, go to your device’s Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions to manage or cancel your NatalCode Pro subscription. On the web, use the “Manage Subscription” link in the app, which opens the Stripe Customer Portal.
How do I restore my Pro subscription on a new device?
Open the app, go to Settings, and tap Restore Purchases. Your Pro access will be restored if you have an active subscription.
Is my data shared with third parties?
We do not sell or share your personal data for marketing purposes. We only share data with service providers necessary to run NatalCode: Stripe (payments), Resend (emails, if opted in), PostHog (anonymous analytics), and AI providers (to generate readings — your data is not stored by them). Are the readings accurate?
NatalCode uses precise astronomical data from Swiss Ephemeris for chart calculations. Readings are generated by AI and personalized to your exact birth chart — not generic sun-sign content. That said, all astrology content is for entertainment and self-reflection purposes and should not be treated as professional advice.
Account & Data Deletion
NatalCode allows you to delete your account and all associated data at any time. When you delete your account:
- Your birth chart and all calculated data are permanently removed
- All AI-generated readings (daily, love, career, year ahead, etc.) are deleted
- All compatibility reports are deleted
- All Decode (Ask Anything) answers are deleted
- Push notification subscriptions are removed
- Purchase and subscription records are removed
- Your email address (if provided) is deleted
To delete your account, open the app, go to Settings, and tap Delete Account & All Data. You can also request deletion by emailing support@natalcode.app.
